in such a dire search for directions we cleverly omit the lessons
makes us even more confused at internal intersections
be ready for what happens and accept what doesn't
but even I wonder where we will go when our hearts stop pumping
is this the only reality or just a half of an intriguing duality?
stare at the tones of the water, dusk of the sky, and praise of the wind
my connection with nature seems so obvious yet mysterious to me
I am amused and humbled by the subtleties of life that nature presents
not needing or craving the same gratification that humans do,
elements of nature such as trees or flowers are able to just be, be at peace, and blossom
quite possibly my inner most desire is to replicate the simplicity of life nature presents; or perhaps return to such an elated state.
